Staffline Group bids farewell to former chief executive

Recruitment and employability firm Staffline Group announced on Monday that non-executive director Andy Hogarth is to step down from his role effective from 30 June.
Hogarth joined the AIM traded company in 2002 as finance director, became managing director in 2003 and then was appointed as chief executive in 2004 when the company was first listed on the AIM market.

He leaves Staffline in order explore other business opportunities as-well as pursuing his other business interests.

The company said that in the 15 years since Hogarth joined, the business grew its turnover from roughly £40m to nearly £1bn in 2017, with underlying operating profits growing from £2m to over £39m during the same period.

Chris Pullen, chief executive of Staffline Group, said: "I would like to take this opportunity to thank Andy for his valuable contribution in driving the group's significant growth over the past fourteen years. On a personal note, I am very grateful for the support and guidance given to me by Andy following my appointment as chief executive officer in January 2018. On behalf of the board, I wish Andy all the best for the future. "

As of 1028 BST, Staffline Group's shares were up 0.52% at 966.00p.
