Proton Power Systems launches fourth generation fuel cells
Proton Power Systems announced the launch of its fourth generation of high efficiency stacks and fuel cell systems on Thursday.
The clean power solutions company's new products are lighter weight and higher integration single stack modular designs which cover power ranges from 2 to 16 kW in the lower power class and from 15 to 75 kW in the upper power class.
Helmut Gierse, chairman of Proton Power Systems, said: "I am delighted to announce this new product range which builds on and improves our third generation fuel cells delivering lighter, more efficient and highly integrated single stack modular fuel cells; the new range of products will include 37 kW and 67 kW fuel cell systems (excluding auxiliaries to provide 30 and 60kW) addressing the Chinese market."
The products are available for stationary, logistic, automotive, rail and maritime applications.
Larger multi-stack systems which can meet power demands beyond 100 kW are also available for trucks, trains, ships and significant stationary applications.
As of 1628 GMT, Proton Power Systems' shares were up 2.00% at 5.10p.
