Peter Pritchard takes up CEO chair at Pets at Home
Pets at Home Group has confirmed that Peter Pritchard has taken up his position as group chief executive officer, with effect from Friday morning.
The FTSE 250 company said Ian Kellett would remain with the group until 31 May, to complete the handover process with Pritchard.
It initially announced Pritchard's appointment on 28 November last year.
"Peter has steered the retail business for a number of years and has been responsible for the launch of some highly successful initiatives, and I am confident he will provide strong leadership to the group," said chairman Tony DeNunzio at the time.
