MySQUAR launches new strategy card mobile game 'Wushu King'

Myanmar-language social media, entertainment and payments platform MySQUAR announced the launch of a new strategy card mobile game called Wushu King on Thursday.
The AIM-traded company described Wushu King as a strategy card mobile game that takes place in the Wulin world, a genre of Chinese fiction featuring martial artists.

Players could choose from more than 100 heroes to create their own strategic team including Byatwi and Zawgy, two popular heroes from Myanmar folklore.

Each hero had their own unique powers, and when players understand the interconnections between characters, the right combination could be powerful, MySQUAR explained.

The game featured chibi anime - a style of Japanese animation- and the ability for players to create guilds for more interactive gameplay.

"We are excited to release our second Wuxia mobile game and expect it will have widespread appeal to gamers in Myanmar," said MySQUAR COO Stephen Chong.

"MySQUAR remains the largest publisher of Myanmar-language mobile games."

Chong said Wushu King was the 11th game the company had released in just under two years.

"The company will keep releasing mobile games on a regular basis and continues to seek mobile gaming partnerships to augment our existing game pipeline."
