Location Sciences completes work programme for Wren Kitchens

Mobile location and data intelligence company Location Sciences Group announced the completion of its first programme of work under the Google Location Services Provider (LSP) certification for Wren Kitchens on Monday.
The AIM-traded firm said it was one of three certified Google LSPs, and the only one outside of the United States.

It said the Google LSP programme was designed to ensure that providers offered location hardware, software and services verified by Google engineers to be compatible with its location platforms.

The project saw the installation of proximity network infrastructure to connect consumer footfall at the Wren Kitchens showrooms with online activity, and provide an ongoing LSP service across the Wren estate.

Location Sciences also announced that it had completed the supply of location data services to the Consumer Data Research Centre (CDRC).

It said the CDRC was established by the UK Economic and Social Research Council to supply data to researchers from the University of Leeds, University College London, University of Liverpool and the University of Oxford.

"Over the past year Location Sciences has been busy restructuring the company, and putting in place the experienced team and market-leading data infrastructure required to pursue its new strategy," said CEO Mark Slade.

"The company is now fully focused on developing and monetising its products.

"We are delighted to have entered into these agreements with Wren Kitchens and CDRC and look forward to announcing further client contracts throughout the year and beyond."
