Impax appoints former BNP Paribas vice chairman as non-executive director

AIM traded sustainable specialist investor Impax Asset Management on Tuesday appointed Arnaud Jacques Marie Gilbert de Beauchef de Servigny as non-executive director with immediate effect.
De Servigny replaces Guy de Froment, who is stepping down after serving on the board since January 2008, and was previously vice chairman of BNP Paribas Asset Management and joint chief executive responsible for sales and marketing.

Keith Falconer, chairman of Impax Asset Management, said: "On behalf of the company I would like to thank Guy for his dedication and valuable contribution to the development of Impax's business during the last 10 years. As we near our twentieth anniversary and seek to deliver the next phase of growth, Arnaud brings a wealth of experience to Impax. We are delighted to welcome him to the board."

He currently serves as non-executive director of BNP Paribas Asset Management France and prior to that worked at Deutsche Bank, Barclays Wealth and Standard & Poor's.

In the last five year de Servigny has also held directorships at Fondation Pour l'Ecole, Bramham Gardens Investments Limited, Bramham Gardens SARL and Camgestion.

As of 1207 BST, Impax Asset Management's shares were up 1.86% at 200.15p.
