Toople pries 'major contract' away from Vodafone

Telecommunications provider Toople has won another significant contract, this time with a Southern England based tyre company.
Toople announced on Tuesday it had inked a 24-month contract with the commercial mobile service van fleet operator to provide the unnamed customer with all its mobile connections and had already switched the client from Vodafone, its existing provider, to Toople using the 02 network.

Andy Hollingworth, Toople's chief executive, said, "It's great to see that the Toople approach of fixed prices and transparent costs has again been attractive and successful in winning a customer from one of the big carriers. What particularly appealed to this customer was unlimited calls, unlimited texts and a great monthly data allocation for a fixed monthly cost."

This builds on the March contract win for Toople with an unnamed London based bakery, providing full telecom services across its 52 retail sites and its company headquarters.

Toople if focused primarily on the UK SME market, offering services including business broadband, fibre, ethernet data services, business mobile phones, cloud PBX and traditional services, all delivered and managed through its proprietary software platform.

As of 0830 BST, shares had jumped 18% to 0.88p.
