Sopheon expects revenue and profit figures to best market expectations

Solid growth shown by Sopheon in its interim report card back in August carried over into the final quarter of its trading year, with the group announcing on Thursday that it was expecting revenues and pre-tax profits to come in ahead of market expectations.
For the year ended 31 December, the software and services provider noted that subject to year-end financial close and audit processes, early indications were that it was like to exceed its targets for the full year as continued building of momentum and enhanced market recognition of its product set had guided it to the improved figures.

Looking forward, Sopheon said, "We expect improved recurring revenue and visibility into 2018."

The group expected to release its fully audited results for the 2017 trading year on 22 March.

As of 0840 GMT, shares had gained 17.13% to 424.00p.
