NYSE halts trading in Amazon.com and Alphabet after glitch
(WebFG News) - The New York Stock Exchange suspended trading in shares of Amazon.com, Booking Holdings, Zion Oil&Gas and Google- parent Alphabet as a result of a price scale code issue affecting BCCG execution reports, the trading venue said in a statement.
Wednesday's trading halt was instituted at roughly 1700 BST and was to remain in place for the entire session with any open orders in those financial securities set to be cancelled .
At the time of the glitch stock in Amazon.com was trading 4.1% lower, alongside a 0.7% advance in that of Alphabet.
