Inland Homes appoints MD to board following 'tremendous' impact

Housebuilder Inland Homes announced on Wednesday that managing director Gary John Skinner has been appointed to the board of directors with immediate effect.
Skinner has over 30 years of experience in the housebuilding industry and particularly specialises in the sourcing, acquisition and planning as well as the commercial delivery of construction projects.

He joined AIM-traded firm Inland Homes as a managing director in February 2016 and has been responsible for forging construction partnerships and joint venture developments, as well as overseeing the health and safety standards, HR and customer services for the company

Chief executive Stephen Wicks said Skinner "has had a tremendous impact on the company" and been an "integral part" of the increase in staff numbers from 31 to 101 people in the last 26 months, having led the formation and expansion of the construction business.

"Housebuilding and, increasingly, the development of homes in partnership with local authorities and housing associations are core pillars of our strategy as we seek to diversify and grow our income streams, and Gary's appointment to the board reflects that," Wicks said.

As of 1503 BST, Inland Homes' shares were up 0.76% at 66.7p.
