Director dealings: Telford director lowers stake
David Campbell, sales and marketing director of AIM-quoted house-building company Telford Homes, disposed of 100,000 ordinary shares in the group on Thursday, just 24 hours after he acquired them as part of the firm's employee share options scheme.
Campbell, who joined Telford Homes in November 2011, sold the shares at an average price of 455p each, a total of £455,000, in order to mitigate a "significant tax exposure" arising from his dual US and UK nationality.
Following the sale, Campbell has an interest in a total of 47,062 ordinary Telford shares, approximately 0.06% of the company's issued share capital.
Telford posted record revenues of £316.2m for the year ended 31 March, up 8.32% from a year ago, while pre-tax profits jumped by 35% to £46m.
The firm's current pipeline includes more than 4,000 homes at an average sale price of £539,000.
As of 1540 BST, Telford shares had gained 2.19% to 466p.
