Week ahead: US data in the spotlight during holiday-shortened week
The spotlight over the coming holiday-shortened week will be a on a barrage of data releases on Thursday, including a revised reading on fourth quarter gross domestic product.
That will come alongside data on mortgage approvals and money supply growth for the month of February.
Preceding that, on Monday the BBA will publish its latest figures on mortgages for home purchase.
Stateside, Thursday will bring bring with it a barrage of economic indicators, including prints on personal income and spending for February, together with readings on consumer confidence from the University of Michigan and MNI Chicago factory sector PMI.
On the Continent, the main data release will be the latest figures on Eurozone money supply (M3) from the European Central Bank, on Monday.
Lastly, on Sunday, 31 March, investors will be watching for the results of a survey on Chinese manufacturing sector conditions.
