Paraag Amin confirmed as permanent CFO at dotDigital

Marketing platform software-as-a-service provider dotdigital Group announced on Tuesday that Paraag Amin will be joining the group as its chief financial officer, replacing interim CFO Phillip Blundell.
The AIM-traded company said Amin is a Chartered Financial Analyst, having qualified in 2004.

It said he had more than 15 years of experience working as an analyst, fund manager and working with public markets.

Amin previously held positions with Canaccord Genuity, Peel Hunt, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs and also founded his own business in the digital marketing space.

The dotdigital board said Amin would be overseeing the finance and legal department, and assisting the group with the continuation of the successful strategy in growing the business.

He would begin his executive role and join the board of directors on 5 February.

"I'm delighted that Paraag has agreed to join me at dotdigital," said chief executive officer Milan Patel.

"His breadth and depth of experience in the public markets and his financial background makes him ideally placed to help me as we plan and execute the next phase of dotdigital's development.

"I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Phillip Blundell for his contribution to the business as interim CFO for the last seven months."
