Brewin Dolphin finance director Westenberger to step down

FTSE 250 wealth manager Brewin Dolphin said on Friday that Andrew Westenberger will step down as finance director on 16 May "by mutual agreement to pursue other interests".
The search for a permanent replacement has already begun.

The company also took the opportunity to give a very brief update on trading, saying that the business continues to perform in line with expectations, with continuing growth in income and profitability.

Chairman Simon Miller said: "I would like to thank Andrew, both personally and on behalf of the board, for his significant contribution to the business over the last five years and wish him well for the future. Andrew has been part of a successful management team, which during his time with Brewin Dolphin has seen performance go from strength to strength - with total funds under management, discretionary funds, revenue and profit all rising significantly."

Brewin is due to report its interim results for the six months ended 31 March 2018 next month.
